Pioneer Midwest
Pioneer Midwest is a local ski shop in Osseo, Minnesota with a nation-wide E-Commerce footprint. I managed Pioneer Midwest's website, social media and events. The shop catered to racers, recreational skiers and High School skiers. My job was to target those audiences and bring out the loud and fun personality of the shop. I worked on a variety of content assets including editing images, social posts, flyers, website graphics and videos.
Pioneer Midwest was a unique experience because they needed everything (photography, video, blog writing, print marketing materials, website management, etc.) but it was a challenge to grab my camera and coordinate video shoots. I have always been able to just hop in and start creating content, taking photos, video, and anything needed. The logistical battle was partly due to the fact that it was winter, it was freezing outside and there were limited daylight hours. I learned to make a few assets go a very long way and how to conduct a photoshoot with freezing fingers.
